I never really wanted to make lamps.
I wanted to make objects that could exist in a room before anyone thought of turning them on.



Sculptural pieces made from ceramic or natural stone and hand-felted wool. They have their own presence in a space.

Then the light comes on — and something else happens. The object remains.The atmosphere changes.

And this is where I want to work with interior designers and architects — with people who see a space before it exists, and know when it needs something that wasn’t in the catalogue. Not simply to place one of my pieces in a project, but to find out what that piece could become because of it.



Light, without deciding where it has to live.




There is no cable to design around and no socket determining the composition.


Each piece is rechargeable, so it can sit exactly where the space asks for it — on a console, between two rooms, beside an artwork, or somewhere nobody planned for light at all.



For an interior designer, I think that freedom matters.


Sometimes the right place for an object is simply the place where it looks right.


I would rather make ten right pieces than a hundred similar ones.


Even with a very well organised studio, around ten pieces a month is my natural limit. And I intend to keep it that way.

That limitation gives us something useful: room to work together.
Colour, scale, proportions and character can be developed around a particular interior. If you involve me early enough, we can start not with which lamp fits, but with what kind of object belongs there.



***A commissioned piece normally takes around two weeks to create.



I’m particularly interested in working with interior designers and architects.


Some pieces eventually become available to the public. Others can be reserved for projects before they ever reach the gallery.
For professional projects, I offer dedicated trade terms, advance access to available and upcoming pieces, and the possibility of developing variations specifically for a space.
