Ancient Japanese Nerikomi - Art shaped for everyday life

Marble Ceramics - fragments of art, made authentic.

Do you value authenticity? Then we already share the same path.
I have been working with the Nerikomi technique for many years. What inspires me most is its spontaneity — the way patterns emerge unpredictably, like marble veins in nature.

In some parts of the world this technique is also known as Agateware, and in Italy it has the poetic name Millefiori — a thousand flowers. Different names, but the same essence: clay transformed into something unrepeatable.

I combine this natural spontaneity with minimalist forms. Alongside the cups, I also create marble stone vases — simple silhouettes that carry the quiet strength of natural stone.
For me, these objects are a way of bringing art and beauty into daily life: into a morning coffee, a moment of silence, a space of attention to oneself.

Not painted. Not repeated. Born inside the clay.

Nerikomi is an ancient Japanese ceramic method where patterns are not painted, but born inside the clay itself. Layers of colored clay are stacked, cut, and reassembled — and each cut reveals a design as unrepeatable as marble in nature.

It is a demanding, delicate, and time-consuming process. Each piece requires days of work, and every result is unique in the world. In Japan, Nerikomi is regarded as one of the most prestigious and valuable ceramic arts. Entire exhibitions and competitions are dedicated to it, and pieces made in this way are considered treasures — artistry worth its weight in gold.

You can explore the entire process in this video - from raw clay to the finished marble cup.

An Ideal Solution for an Unforgettable Gift
Each cup is a small inimitable artwork

We all know how difficult it is to find the perfect gift. Something that surprises, moves, and stays unforgettable. A marble mug or stone vase does exactly that. It is not just an object — it is a piece of art placed in your hands.

The presentation elevates the experience:

elegant packaging and a certificate with a QR code that reveals the creation process. Even the act of giving becomes a journey — a moment of discovery for the person receiving it.

Exclusivity & Availability.

Nerikomi Each piece takes up to three days of work, and I can only make 20–25 per month. Most are reserved in advance by art boutiques.

That’s why availability in the shop is always limited. If you want to catch a cup or stone vase that resonates with you, it’s best to sign up for notifications — you’ll know as soon as something becomes available to purchase.
